Kids’ Acting Academy Alumni & Friends Variety Show, August 10, 2024

Welcome to our first ever Kids’ Acting Academy Variety Show!  This variety show will feature youth performers and adults with tons of talent to share!  Music, dance, acting, and many more surprises will be had!  The performance will be August 10, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Marshalltown Performing Arts Center (High School Auditorium)

Our line up includes:

Marshall County Brass Quintet performing “Killer Tango” (Canadian Brass Version) arranged by Sonny Kompanek and “Puttin’ on the Ritz” by Irving Berlin, arranged by Stephen Roberts

Beckham McLeod & Lincoln McLeod performing “Who’s on First” by Abbott and Costello

Nick Beard – Singer/Songwriter performing “Intergalactic Desperados” & “The Weight of Memory”

Jaleb Jay performing a Juggling Act

Sammuel Wilder – Lyricist/Rapper performing “Elephant”

Izaiah Wilder – Pianist performing “Arabesque no. 1” Composed by Debussy

Naysa Rottink performing “Skit” written and performed by Naysa Rottink

David Engel & Nick Beard performing “Flamingo Motel” and “Make Me the Man that My Dog Thinks I Am” lyrics by David Engel & accompanied by Nick Beard on ukulele

This performance is a fundraiser to raise money to bring Kids’ Acting Academy back with a SPLASH with “Finding Nemo, Jr.” for the Summer of 2025.  Our goal is to raise $7,000.

This is a family friendly show for all ages.  Tickets are $10.00 per person.  Any additional donations can be made to:
